Scherschel Legacy proudly honors all direct descendants of the Scherschel line who have heeded the call of duty in the armed forces. For seven generations now in North America and numerous generations in Europe, descendants of Scherschel lineage have served in theaters of war as well as peacetime. The following tribute rolls commemorate Scherschels of direct descent who answered the call of duty to serve their families and nations. As a global family, we are eternally grateful for their efforts and sacrifice.

The following tribute rolls are categorized by era. Those who served during peacetime are grouped with the closest era to the time of their service and are denoted with the annotation (Peacetime). Service records of non-biological or extended family members of the Scherschel dynasty are recorded on the master family charts in ancestry.com. Families who are aware of ancestors and descendants who served in military branches in North America or Europe are encouraged to notify Scherschel Legacy of their service for inclusion in the tribute rolls.
