VOLUME 11: ALEXANDER SCHERSCHEL AND ELIZABETH MARIE KRATOCHVIL GENEALOGY BOOK DISTRIBUTED TODAY!
Volume 11 of the Scherschel Family Genealogy was distributed as a PDF book attachment via email. This is the next sequential book to be distributed after Volumes 2, 3, 4 and 10 were released over the past three years. If you are on the mass email list or previously provided your email to receive a copy, please check your email inbox (or spam folder) carefully for the attached book. Five out of nineteen total books which span the entirety of Scherschel ancestry and descendancy around the globe since the early 1500s have now been released. We’ve reached the half-way point to account for all North American Scherschel descendants.

As always, if any descendants of Alexander Scherschel and Elizabeth Marie Kratochvil-Scherschel find any errors or missed descendants in this book, please notify Scherschel Legacy and the corrections/additions will be made immediately. This volume, which covers origination of the Scherschel family from Temeswar, Hungary to immigration to Chicago and beyond was one of the smaller branches of the North American Scherschels since Alexander immigrated decades later in 1906.
Looking ahead into 2026, we are still seeking a location to hold next June’s reunion. If any household would like to host for the anticipated date of Saturday, June 20th, please let us know and we’ll be happy to coordinate and make the announcements. If no location is set by the end of February, a location will be chosen based on several available options off-site from one of the ancestral farms. Much more fun Scherschel history and memories to come as we head into a new year.
