The network allows the global family of Scherschel descendants to interact and find one another by providing biographical and contact information. To join the network, please create a personal account at the login page. Account approval and login access may take up to 24 hours to be verified by the site administrator. If account access has not been granted after 24 hours, please call Scherschel Legacy at the phone number on the contact page for verbal confirmation and access verification.
Upon verification of your descendancy and access granting, you will be able to infill information for your household on your profile. The network also provides a secure drop box at the top of the page within the member login section. Here you may upload ancestral photos or records for inclusion in the global family archives. The archive is privately custodied by Scherschel Legacy and utilizes advanced security protocols for the sole benefit of and use by Scherschel descendants around the world.
Sixteen volumes of families descended from the Scherschel surname in Germany, North America and other European nations document the family’s succession in totality. Scherschel descendants may find their lineage and respective families in the directories of one of the following volumes. The first volume covers the ancestry and descendancy of the Scherschel line exclusively in Germany since its origins. Volumes 2 through 11 cover the descendancy in North America since 1837. Volumes 12 through 16 cover ancestry and descendancy in France, Austria, Hungary, Luxembourg and the Commonwealth Nations.
