As the creator and curator of Scherschel Legacy, Louis is a fifth-generation North American Scherschel descendant born in Valparaiso, Indiana and currently residing in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. His professional background includes practice as a licensed architect. He is also a retired private wealth manager who previously worked in Chicago for the Royal Bank of Canada and in independent practice. Upon official retirement, Louis initiated the coordination of all branch records for the global Scherschel dynasty. His efforts continue full-time to preserve Scherschel ancestral heritage and records for future generations.
